Supporting Young Albertans for Life
AMA and the AMA Community Foundation offer school programs that benefit Alberta’s youth—and their teachers—at virtually every level of education, from elementary through high school.
                AMA School Safety Patrol
The AMA School Safety Patrol supports all the little ones who need to safely cross the street—and specializes in the development of responsible leadership among division two students who serve as crosswalk heroes.

                School Garden Studio
The School Garden Studio welcomes Alberta’s teachers into a virtual space where they can access, explore, and share the resources needed to teach food literacy through their own school garden programs.

                AMA Driver Ed: School Edition
AMA’s Driver Ed: School Edition is an online module-based program that you can use in your classroom to help students learn the safe driving habits that parents—and future employers—want to see when young Albertans eventually get behind the wheel.
                                                        Home Grown
Working with local experts, we’ve curated a suite of programs for schools that:
- Complement the provincial curriculum.

- Teach the kind of life skills that young Albertans can carry with them throughout their lives.

Our ultimate goal is to help Alberta’s schools foster safe, healthy, and sustainable communities for each generation.
Teaching Resources
Our school programs provide educators with easy-to-use resources that:
- Are exclusive for participating schools.

- Lesson plans, training materials, classroom tools, learning modules, and more.

From elementary to junior high and up to high school, our resources can help you stay ahead of the curve.
